Rocky Mountain Mine Remediation Site

System Configuration:
2 Retriever Wireless Data Modules

At this former uranium mining site, a tailings pile has been reburied, lined and capped. Water from a nearby pond is sprayed on the pile by a solar-powered pump to control blowing dust during the dry season. Two Retriever units at the remote, inhospitable site record the solar pump's flow rate and the pond water level to ensure and document proper performance of the dust control procedures.

This type of site really brings Retriever capabilities for remote, unattended functioning to the forefront. On many cleanup projects, just getting someone to the site can be a significant hassle and expense, factors which are greatly reduced by installing a Retriever system.
